If you are in need of living on campus, there is a one-time $300.00 deposit required, which includes a $100 non-refundable application fee. $200 is processed as a refund once a student cancels their housing and is contingent upon the student having no balance with the institution.

After your payment has processed, you will have to complete the 住房 application. You will be sent to another webpage SELF-SERVICE PORTAL. Log on with your username (your email address for Xavier University) and password. After you have completed the application, please make sure to press the 提交 button.


When we have received your completed application, 我们将创建您的作业, please allow up to 1 week for processing. To view your assignment please log on to your Self-Service Portal and view your hall, 房间和室友信息.

Living on campus is the best option for students who want to be in the thick of things. 住在校园里, you’ll have access to a variety of activities and events that will keep you connected with the Xavier community. You'll be so close to your classes that walking is easy and convenient—you won't have to worry about fighting for a parking spot or driving long distances. The Office of Residential Living at Xaiver University of Louisiana maintains a student-focused living experience for residents by providing dynamic residential communities and co-curricular opportunities in a safe and secure environment. All while advancing the educational mission of the university by developing students and providing resources that foster a positive living-learning experience.

  1. You must submit a housing deposit of  $300 housing prior to May 1st. 
  1. Log into the housing portal and submit your housing application.
  2. First-time students do not choose where they live. 住房 is manually completed for the 1st 仅限时间学生. 
  3. First-time students cannot request who they would like to live with due to limited spacing.
  4. Your housing assignment will be posted in your housing portal two weeks after you pay your deposit and apply.
